Psilocybe Baeocystis
We now have available a very limited batch of mushroom spore syringes and spore prints of Psilocybe baeocystis. A very unique translucent “bottle cap” that bruises an intense metallic bluish-green with handling and when moist. Grows abundantly in lawns or grassy areas rich in humus or lignin and/or in alder wood chips and bark mulch from late September through December and sometimes into January. This species got its name from the psychoactive compound named “baeocystin.” Concentration ranges for psychoactive compounds in studies were reported to be 0.15–0.85% psilocybin, up to 0.59% psilocin, and up to 0.10% baeocystin. A very potent species when fresh.
